Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) have identified 31 significant or suggestive risk signals across 26 loci. Despite efforts to mechanistically characterize these loci, functional variants and target genes remain mostly elusive. Here, we fine-mapped 1,414 variants across these 31 signals and implemented a chromatin conformation capture method, GWAS Capture-C, to nominate candidate target genes. Overall, this analysis nominated 2,108 transcripts representing 273 unique candidate target genes at 25 loci. A total of 1,078 fine-mapped variants intera
