Investigating the oral and dental effects of nicotine pouches: findings from a patient and professional survey with in-person assessment.

Background: Nicotine pouches (NPs) are increasingly popular tobacco-free nicotine products, particularly among young people. Despite growing use, evidence regarding their oral health effects remains limited. Methods: We employed a mixed-methods approach comprising: (1) a national cross-sectional survey of NP users, (2) a survey of UK dental professionals, and (3) in-person clinical assessments of NP users.
