INTRODUCTION: Plasma phosphorylated tau217 (pTau217), neurofilament light chain (NfL), and multimodal dementia risk scores may predict development of dementia, but their relative and combined predictive utility remains unclear. METHODS: Data from 3935 participants (aged 58 to 91 (mean =68.3) years) of the Norwegian Trondelag Health Study were used to compare plasma pTau217, NfL, and ANU-ADRI, CAIDE, CogDrisk, LIBRA, LIBRA2, UKBDRS(APOE), and Lancet Commission-based Dementia Risk Score for 11- year prediction of all-cause dementia, using nested logistic regression models.
