Introduction: Knee muscle coactivation is elevated after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR), contributing to altered joint loading and post-traumatic osteoarthritis. Existing methods average coactivation within predefined gait phases and require priori designation of muscles roles, limiting the resolution for when differences occur. Objective: Characterize knee joint coactivation and dynamics throughout gait in individuals with ACLR using statistical parametric mapping.
