Psychometric properties of the Alimetry Gut-Brain Wellbeing Survey-II: A revised, unidirectional mental health scale for patients with chronic gastroduodenal symptoms

Objective: The Alimetry Gut-Brain Wellbeing (AGBW) Survey is a validated 10-item scale developed to assess mental health in patients with chronic gastroduodenal symptoms. While the original scale demonstrated strong psychometric properties overall, as part of an ongoing commitment to continuous instrument optimization, this study evaluated a revised, unidirectional version of the scale (AGBW-II) to enhance measurement precision.
