Background Men who have sex with men (MSM) in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area (JMA), Indonesia are disproportionately affected by HIV. Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a viable strategy for addressing enduring HIV disparities, yet remains underutilized among MSM in the JMA. Patterns and influences of PrEP use may inform future intervention targets but have not been extensively studied in this context. Methods Guided by the Andersen's Behavioral Model for Health Services Use, the present study investigated multidimensional correlates of varied PrEP use patterns among 183 JMA-based MSM aged 18-5
